Siracusa railway disruption runs to January

RFI scheduled works between Bicocca and Siracusa from 1 October 2026 to 31 January 2027, changing train operations.

The programme includes the Augusta bypass and a road underpass at Costa Pisone, with funding also provided through the PNRR.

Passengers travelling through the Siracusa area need to account for construction and service changes when planning connections.
