Ragusa changes waste collection: glass twice a month

Ragusa’s new waste-management service has formally started and is undergoing testing, according to the municipality’s 29 October notice. From November, household glass collection is scheduled for the first and third Wednesday of each month.

The contract also provides residual-waste measuring bins intended to support pay-as-you-throw charging and routine removal of illegally dumped waste. Some measures are service objectives rather than fully implemented changes. Households should check operational notices for their own area.
