Palermo metropolitan council backs almost €34 million update
Roads and schools feature in the revised planning document.
Palermo metropolitan council approved its third amendment to the unified planning document. On 31 October, mayor Roberto Lagalla reported a package worth €33.987 million.
The amendment updates the three-year public works plan and purchasing programme.
It includes €13.78 million for roads, €8.2 million for school buildings and €3.8 million for public property. These are planned allocations; approval does not mean construction has been completed.
