Mobile cancer screening restarts in Avola
Free mammograms are scheduled for 9–11 November.
Siracusa’s health authority will station its screening vehicle in Avola’s Piazza Francesco Crispi from 9 to 11 November, between 09:00 and 17:00.
Free mammograms are offered to women aged 50–69 by appointment. Information on other cancer screening programmes will also be available.
The announced next stops are Pachino on 12–13 November and Rosolini on 16–17 November. The service brings screening closer to communities distant from fixed centres.
